When a Republican or even their spouse says something that agrees with Liberal issues its headline news and they are interviewed by everyone. When a Democrat agrees with Republicans issues?
Not true... There was a ton of press about the Democratic support of the Iraq war, which, if you recall, was led by the VERY Republican Bush administration.

It's a lot more interesting when Republicans agree with Democrats because the Republican party is the party of dogma and purity tests. As soon as someone departs from the catechism, they are ousted (see GOProud's banishment from CPAC the last two years).
