Teabo bill passes senate.

My bill to allow all homeschool students the ability to try out for TSSAA sports in public schools passed the Tennessee  state senate unanimously 31 to 0. Next up is the house.

Could this finally be the year it gets done? It has been something so many have worked to accomplish for decades.

  1. Thank you very much for your work on this. As a former home schooled student I really hope this bill passes. Was home schooled from 1985 through 1990. Went to a private high school in part to play sports.

  2. Why should there be special rules for home schooled children? If you want to play sports for the school, you should have to attend the school. Case closed.
